Man Arrested After Crash and Drug Discovery
A 30-year-old man was arrested in Ledyard on Thursday after a crash and discovery of drugs and weapons in his vehicle. He was believed to be involved in a property-damaging crash in Groton earlier that day, according to the report of WSFB.
Suspect Found Slumped Over Wheel
Police found the suspect, Justin Fiske slumped over the wheel of his pickup truck on Hill Street in Ledyard at 2:11 PM. Small white rocks and powdery substances were found inside the vehicle raising suspicions.

Drugs and Weapons Seized
A search of Fiske’s vehicle uncovered crack cocaine, powder cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and two large knives. A loaded black powder revolver was also found.
Arrest and Court Appearance
Fiske was charged with multiple counts and released after posting a percentage of his $20,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 18th to face the charges.
