Car Break-Ins and Theft Shock Baltimore Churchgoers.
According to The Baltimore Banner, on a Sunday afternoon at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Baltimore, something really upsetting happened. Some people broke into cars, and one car was even stolen while everyone was at church. The police got a call about it shortly after noon.

Security Falls Short as Thieves Target Church Parking Lot
Even though the church had security guards, they were inside when this happened. The cameras they had to watch the area didn’t capture anything because the thefts were too far away. The church said in a statement that they were really sad and upset about this happening during their special church service.
Pastor Speaks Out as Congregation Deals with Church Violation
The pastor, Reverend Ray Cotton, who’s been at the church for a long time, said he’s worried about the way things are going in the city. He explained that during their church service, six or seven cars were broken into, and one was taken. The pastor hopes the people who did this realize it’s a serious thing and that they will face consequences. The police are looking into it, and it’s a tough time for the church community.
