On the third anniversary of the U.S. Capitol riot, federal authorities apprehended three individuals believed to have participated in the event, as announced by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on Saturday.

Arrest Details and Charges
The suspects, identified as Jonathan Daniel Pollock, Olivia Michele Pollock, and Joseph Daniel Hutchinson III, were arrested by FBI agents from the Tampa, Florida, field office at a ranch near Groveland, Florida.
The arrests followed an extensive search for Daniel Pollock, initiated in June 2021, and fugitive status for Olivia Pollock and Hutchinson since March 2023 after removing their ankle monitors.
The FBI statement did not disclose specific details regarding the arrest operation or the events leading up to it. Johnathan Pollock is accused of assaulting multiple law enforcement officers with a deadly weapon, while Olivia Pollock and Hutchinson face charges related to assaulting officers and other crimes. The suspects are scheduled to appear in federal court in Ocala, Florida, on Monday.

Post-Riot Prosecutions and Convictions
Since the Capitol riot in January 6, 2021, prosecutors have charged more than 1,200 individuals in connection with the incident, with over 700 people pleading guilty to charges, and more than 100 convictions.
The government continues its pursuit of unidentified individuals suspected of engaging in violent crimes during the riot, reflecting ongoing efforts to address the aftermath of the unprecedented event.
