Shanika Shanta Cheatham, 43, of Enola, attempted to fight the east Pennsboro police after being arrested and bit the correctional officer.
East Pennsboro Police Arrested Shanika Shanta Cheatham For the Following Reasons:
According to the report of Local 21 News, on August 24, East Pennsboro Police were summoned to East Pennsboro for a report of erratic driving at 11:15 p.m. The East Pennsboro Police discovered a car near the intersection of N. Enola Road and E. Columbia Road.
According to the East Pennsboro Police, the driver, 43-year-old Shanika Shanta Cheatham of Enola, looked to be under the influence of alcohol. Officers also discovered that Cheatham had a suspended license.

Shanika Shanta Cheatham Attempted to Bite and Fight The Officers
Cheatham was apprehended and taken to the Cumberland County jail for chemical testing. Cheatham, according to East Pennsboro Police, attempted to kick out the partition of the East Pennsboro Police car while being transported.
When authorities arrived at the prison, they attempted to pull Cheatham out of the truck, at which point she allegedly began fighting with East Pennsboro Police and biting a Cumberland County Correctional Officer.
Cheatham, according to officials, declined the blood test.
Cheatham was charged with aggravated prisoner harassment, DUI, resisting arrest, habitual offenders, and DUS.
