Seattle’s weather is doing its usual dance this week — a little sun, a little rain, and plenty of clouds in between. It’s spring in the PNW, and while it may not be totally predictable, that’s part of the charm. Here’s a breakdown of what kind of weather you can expect each day:
Friday, April 18 – Hello, Sunshine!
Expect a warm, sunny start to the weekend with highs around 71°F. It’s one of those days where you’ll actually want to eat lunch outside or take the long way home. Take advantage — this is likely the nicest day of the week!
Saturday, April 19 – Back to Business (Cloudy Skies)
Saturday cools off a bit, with highs in the upper 50s and a chance of light rain in the morning. It won’t be a washout, but maybe don’t leave the house without a light rain jacket. Great day for errands or a cozy coffee shop visit.
Sunday, April 20 – Showers Early, Then Clearing
Sunday brings a few scattered showers early on, but skies could brighten up a bit later in the day. Not quite picnic weather, but still decent for an afternoon walk or some time outside if you time it right.
Monday, April 21 – Mild and Mostly Dry
Monday will be partly sunny and mild — around 58°F — a solid, easygoing spring day. It’s the kind of weather where you might not notice it much, but you’ll appreciate how pleasant it is when you step outside.
Tuesday, April 22 – Mostly Cloudy, But No Complaints
A bit more cloud cover moves in Tuesday, but temps stay mild around 61°F. No major rain in the forecast, just typical gray Seattle skies. Not the worst way to ease through the workweek.
Wednesday, April 23 – Finally, More Sun!
This is the midweek pick-me-up we’ve been waiting for! Sunny, dry, and hitting the mid-60s. If you’ve been craving some vitamin D, this is your chance. Perfect day for a walk, a patio lunch, or just getting outside while you can.
Thursday, April 24 – A Warm Finish
We’ll wrap up the week on a warm and partly sunny note, with highs near 68°F. Not quite summer, but it’s definitely a step in that direction. If the weather holds, Thursday evening could be a great time to hit a brewery patio or take a sunset walk.
