Fall River program launched aimed to enhance Flint neighborhood’s revitalization efforts and community well-being – Fall River Reporter

Local nonprofits have a new opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the Flint community through an innovative mini-grant program launching today. The program offers funding ranging from $200 to $5,000 for projects that enhance the Flint neighborhood’s revitalization efforts and community well-being.

“We’re looking for creative initiatives that can make a real difference in the Flint neighborhood,” said Mayor Paul Coogan. “Whether it’s beautifying a public space, launching a Flint community program, or addressing a local need, we want to support projects that leave a lasting positive impact.”

What makes this opportunity unique is its accessibility—nonprofits don’t need to own the property where their project will take place as long as they secure proper permissions from property owners. This flexibility allows nonprofit organizations to implement their vision wherever it’s needed most in the Flint community.
