Although it may sound a bit confusing, Stray Rescue of St. Louis was faced with a very disturbing animal cruelty situation on Tuesday. Earlier in the day, officials brought in a one-year-old dog with a chain deeply embedded in her neck.
As her rescuers prepared to sedate the dog and inspected the chain in order to prepare to remove it, they spotted obvious scarring from a time when this puppy wore another deeply embedded chain.
It’s unfathomable that someone could do this to her not once, but twice!
The dog, now named Baby Bangles has likely known nothing but pain in her short life. Most likely she spent her entire time wearing a chain that had painfully cut deep into her skin.
her entire life has been filled with pain, misery .. this one is really upsetting.

“Another chain will never take its place. She will never be tied up again. She will never live outside again. This 1 year old will now have the life a dog deserves. We named her Baby Bangle and we can’t wait to show you how sweet she is.”
