Arrests Made in Connection to Westwood Shooting Nearly Six Months Ago
Two Suspects Apprehended in Connection with Six-Month-Old Murder Incident
According to WCPO, Two men were arrested on Wednesday because the police believe they were involved in a shooting in Westwood, Cincinnati that happened almost six months ago. The police say Dairus Hurt and Jashawn Johnson were taken into custody because of an open murder warrant linked to the death of Barron Brown who was shot on October 17. Brown who was 53 years old, was found with gunshot wounds on Ferncrest Court, and sadly he died there.

Suspects Detained as Investigation into Westwood Shooting Continues
Jashawn Johnson was already in detention at the Campbell County Detention Center on another crime when he was apprehended for this one. Dairus Hurt is now being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center. The police say their investigation into the incident is still ongoing, and they’re urging anyone with information about it to call the homicide unit at 513-352-3542.
