Courtney O’Donnell has been chosen by the Democratic president to represent the United States at the Paris-based UNESCO, according to a White House official who spoke on the record Monday under the condition of anonymity to discuss the nomination ahead of a public announcement.
United States Ambassador Nomination
O’Donnell, a candidate for the position of United States ambassador, currently holds two positions: senior adviser to Harris and acting chief of staff for Emhoff. She contributes her expertise to a number of national and international issues, including gender equity and addressing anti-Semitism, a top concern for Emhoff, who is Jewish.
