Looking for a new career opportunity? These companies allow you to bring your dog to the office.

More than ever before, dog owners are actively searching for career opportunities that mean they won’t have to leave their pups behind. In fact, a recent study actually suggests that almost half of Canadians would take a salary cut in exchange for great dog perks at work – so it’s clearly important to pet parents.

Luckily, this won’t be necessary for any of the jobs on this list, as these local companies are already proudly dog-friendly and are all hiring right now.

So if you’re looking for a career change, these dog-friendly Vancouver companies all welcome your dogs to join you at the office, with many also offering remote working, or a combination of both – so you won’t have to leave your pup behind again. 1. Vessi

Founded in 2018 by 3 Vancouverites, Vessi is known for creating the first 100% waterproof sneaker, perfect for the many rainy days in the city. The successful start-up is currently looking for 6 new team members to join it’s dog-friendly Yaletown office.
